Djed is an Ancient Egyptian symbol shaped like a pillar or the sacrum of a bull's spine. It represents stability. It has been interpreted as the spine of the God Osiris and was ceremonially during the Renewal Festival as a phallic symbol symbolizing the potency and longevity of the Pharoah's rule.
