I usually dispose of ritual items by burying them or tossing them into running water. The garbage generally ends up buried in a landfill, so I think that's a perfectly acceptable way to go. I would begin again with the second candle and not worry too much about mistakes. But remember, removing negativity is a temporary state, it's like wiping off the dust. If you're still getting dusted on, you've got to keep wiping it away. You will need to either shield yourself or remove the source. I don't recommend hurting anyone, that just causes more problems, but if you can get away from the person, that would be ideal.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: mayurika deb

Hello there fellow witches and warlocks, season's greetings to you all! My query is relatively urgent so i will post it right away below:
This is regarding a candle prayer that i performed based on a tarot practitioner's advice. The candle prayer was one where the whole candle was supposed to burn out. It was a black candle to break any negative vibes that was sent my way. Now i got a set of two so first one burnt till the end the second one i lighted when i was again sensing some negative vibes. That one did not burn all the way and it was actually doused by the person that i was sensing the negative vibes from. Anyway i have also emailed the respective tarot practitioner but have not received a reply yet.
If anyone has any knowledge what to do with that candle or how to follow up with specific actions after that event please let me know.
P.S.- Also wanted to let you all know the mistakes i made while performing the prayer. I used the same votive. I know i am not supposed to use same candle but i thought same votive is fine but remnants of previous candle was there.
Thank you all in advance!!

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: mayurika deb

I use a lot of candles. I use eggs and eggshells a lot and a chicken foot (but I raise poultry, so.. ), salt, olive oil, various herbs and essential oils including, sage, thyme, rosemary, garlic, basil, lavender, roses- thorns, petals, hips, lemon balm, oregano, lemon, cinnamon, nutmeg, pine needles, cayenne, black pepper, sugar, honey, vinegar, molasses, Florida water every day because I work in retail, a knife from the kitchen whenever I need one(I bought a fancy one years ago and never use it), scissors, lots and lots of mason jars, pen and paper, bits of fabric and needle and thread, pins, string and ribbon, various dirts, a broom (I have a fancy one, I use an ordinary one), a mortar and pestle (One for edible stuff, one for inedible stuff, one for strongly flavored but edible stuff), I have a cast-iron pot, though I use my crockpot much more often and this cool plate I got at the Sal that I think someone probably made as a school project. And that is,,, yep, that's it. I can't think of anything else I could possibly need.

For starting out, I would start with simple things. Meditating with a candle, writing petitions, creating sachets, jar spells. You gather tools as you need them for whatever project you are working on. No need to collect a bunch of stuff you may or may not ever need. Everyone is different.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Starting out?

Spirit Sigils are used to summon and control spirits/demons/angels/djinn. This is Abrahamic Ceremonial magick, not traditional witchcraft. I don't want to say "witches don't use binding sigils and coerce spirits to their will" because witches do what works, but if you're doing that, you're really studying it hard, because it's very specialized magick and witches don't tend to be that focused (not that that some aren't) and much of the community would really look down on that sort of practice, so we wouldn't be talking about it in mixed company. You can create a sigil to do just about any sort of spell, using Spare's Technique (there are articles for these too), but when you are using a specific sigil for a specific spirit, this is a control mechanism. That's not the sort of relationship witches usually have with familiars.

Also, witches don't generally believe in the devil (There are Christian witches who would, I imagine, and some Satanic witches do, though some Satanic witches actually don't. Most of us are Pagan and we've got our fair share of atheists and no devil there.), so you're coming here and asking us how to send a spirit back to a devil we don't believe it came from in the first place is awkward. But you can do a banishing. And there are articles about that too.

As for your specific symbol, it isn't one that is common in witchcraft. It's not to say that it isn't a spirit's sigil, though they are usually more complicated. It isn't related to any alchemical, planetary or elemental energies that I'm aware of. I am not in the business of binding spirits, so I can't say much more than that. There are hundreds of thousands of spirits with established sigils. There are lots of old grimoires with sigils in them. Goetia deals with demons and djinn and Enochian is angels, I think. sacred-texts.com might have a grimoire with binding sigils in it.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Might have inherited a familiar- what do I do?

Yes, just did. It didn't seem to mention the symbols or sigils to contact spirit-form familiars, is that not a thing after all? If so, should I look elsewhere for an explanation to this symbol's constant appearance, or is there another name for sigil-related spirits/entities/whatever, or…?

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Might have inherited a familiar- what do I do?

I love to give houseplants to people! There are many different plants that are magical, meaningful and protective. I am a big fan of a potted rosemary. If their zone is appropriate they can always plant the rosemary outside if they like, but it does well in a pot in a sunny window too. Rosemary stimulates the mind and the memory, cleans the air and smells refreshing.

Another item you may choose is a crystal prism that hangs from the ceiling. These cause delightful dancing rainbows and breaks up stagnant and negative energy in the house.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: A charm/house warming gift for a friend?

Um. Witches are human.
Contacting your ancestors is sort of a gray area between magick and religion and the answers are usually going to be based on some sort of faith. I honor my ancestors, and when I contact them it's usually to give thanks and sometimes to ask for advice, but not favors. The thing about ancestors (according to my religious belief) is that they generally want to help out their descendants anyway. Evolution, after all. Most of my ancestors were Christian, but I"m not sure the dead are religious. After all, religion is all about faith and belief in the unknown, but the dead have already gone and have it sorted.

As for asking any spirits for help with spells. The whole point of a spell is to overcome the material part of ourselves that interfere with the direct connection to the energy of the Universe. Spirits, including the dead, are made of energy. They don't need witchcraft.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Contacting the dead

As a farmer for just the past five years, I have learned the hard way that the best thing you can do for a pregnant animal is to leave it alone and let nature take its course. That being said, your question seems to require a two-part answer. One for the pregnancy and one for the pet.

For the general protection of a pet, many people use a charm on their collar. Both pentagrams and St Francis medals are popular.

As for the pregnancy, moonstone is a wonderful stone to use for pregnancy and onyx eases pain and panic and gives strength during childbirth and bloodstone encourages healing afterward. Nutritional support is also very important. I am usually dealing with veggi-eaters, so oat straw and nettles are my go-tos, but for an obligate carnivore, I am thinking oily fish and a bit of liver now and again, though cats tend to be picky.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Protection for a Pet?

Rosemary is my go-to herb for focus, concentration, and clear-headedness. There are others, like skullcap and damiana that can improve focus in a ritual setting, but they also tend to have consciousness-altering effects- which is okay in ritual, but maybe not in everyday life. Herbs containing caffeine and nicotine are also used to improve focus and concentration, but these are addictive and you have to be careful not to overdo them as they can put a strain on your circulatory system. Rosemary does not make you sleepy or give you a caffeine buzz or contain anything addictive so can be used in mundane settings as well as ritual settings. I like to dab a bit of intentionally-created rosemary-based fragrance oil on my pulse points before beginning a project that requires focus and concentration, like sketching out plans and doing material and cost estimates, doing research, and back in the day, studying for or taking a test. Drinking a tea also works and I find it especially useful for "brain fog" and is lovely for head colds too. In a ritual setting, it makes a lovely incense. If you take too much, it will make you nauseated. It causes acid reflux in me if I overdo it, but everything is bad if you take too much. The essential oil should be diluted in alcohol or a carrier oil and should never be taken internally. The tea should only be made of the whole herb, dried or fresh.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Herbs for focus and concentration?

I agree with Robin. A simple way (especially for the beginner) to create such a talisman would actually be to create an amulet (the difference being that an amulet is a natural object made wearable, whilst a talisman is entirely man made, such as metal). Crystal would be a great choice as you can rather easily charge it with your intent, in this case to attract positive energy, and attach it to a necklace. Worry about the functionality before the appearance, especially as this is your first try. Good luck!

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: I am trying to create an tailsmen that attracts energy and makes spells more effective..
Blood magick is just magick using blood as part of the spell or ritual. It can be used in a number of ways. As a taglock of course, and some believe it to be an extremely powerful taglock, perhaps even resulting in an unbreakable spell. It is particularly useful in binding spells, especially to bind objects to you or to bind one's word to an oath (sometimes used in handfastings and initiations). In cases of spells involving invocation or evocation, it may be used as an offering. Apparently, some beings consider it a very high-value offering, but others might find it offensive and there's always the risk that someone might get the wrong idea. (Blood sacrifice, using animal blood as an offering to the dead or to Gods, I think is religion rather than magick, so I'm not going to get into that.) Many witches who grow their own herbs like to use blood as an offering to the plant ally spirits of their gardens to bind the plants to their own energies to make their magick more effective. And, of course, the plants also like nitrogen.- Though I'm not sure that counts as blood magick perse. Many witches also use their blood to consecrate their tools and bind them to themselves. Blood is also useful for manifesting servitors. Blood, as a symbol of your very essence, can be used as a carrier of your Will during spells of manifestation of all sorts. It comes, pre-charged, if you like. Another possibility is the use of bloodletting as a means to raise energy- in fact, if you're using your blood as a tool of manifestation it will work best if you acquire the blood this way rather than just scraping up an incidental drop and finding a use for it. And, of course, you could do it with someone else, all consenting adults taking all advisable precautions against blood born pathogens.

Black magick is generally defined as magick that causes harm, either by its effects or via the methods and materials used. Blood magick would only meet this definition if it was used to harm someone or if the blood was taken from an unwilling donor. Most blood magick applications require your own blood, but not all. Anyone else's you use should know what you're up to and be fully on board.

With regard to dangers; You'll want to take the usual precautions against infection, of course. Bloodletting itself can be addictive and that can cause problems as well. Also, when using blood to feed a spirit or spell object, well, there's the theoretical risk that you'll end up needing to feed more than is good for you or that the spirit can use the blood to gain power over you. Likewise, if you are doing blood magick with another person you could be allowing them control over you by giving them access to your most powerful taglock.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: What is blood magic and is it dangerous?
Of course. You can always combine methods in whatever way feels best for you. Many people might use one method to get a general answer and turn to another for clarification, using Tarot or tassology to get a general picture and then turn to something like a pendulum for specific yes or no questions relating to the reading. In the example of combining necromancy with a pendulum, you might simply request the spirit channel its answers through the pendulum. Necromancy often involves the use of an additional object or method of delivery for the information rather than direct conversation.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Can I combine types of divination?

Then I would say you can use any species of alder in that spell.
And, while I love Cunningham, his books aren't perfect. Yes, many closely related species have the same rulers and powers, but certainly not all of them. I personally grow white clover and red clover for different purposes. Both are protective, but red is better relationships and mommas and babies and has a more feminine quality while white is for general luck, property and money. They are really quite different plants in energy and form. While others might disagree with me, I would say that red clover is Venusian and white Mercurian. That being said, I still think a skilled magic-user can make do with whatever.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Do herb species matter in magick?

I asked the author of the summoning oil recipe what species of alder should I use. All he said was that the herb needs to be powdered and dried before being put into the oil and also that (alder is alder), I guess that means I can use any species right?

Wait. I thought all species within a same family and genus had the same magickal planetary/elemental rulers. That's how Scott Cunningham's magickal herbs book explained it. He list white clover and read clover (2 different species) all under (Trifolium spp.) with the same magickal rulers and powers?

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Do herb species matter in magick?

Herb species absolutely always matter in culinary and medicinal applications. However, in magick, it's not always so specific. To use a fictional example from the Discworld Witches by the late Sir Terry Pratchett: Granny knows that the type of plant isn't that important, that's one reason she's a better witch than Magrat. Magrat thinks the specific type of plant is important, that's why she's a better doctor than Granny.

It can often be difficult to know exactly what species of herb a spell calls for as the person writing it down is probably just using what grows nearby and unless you know where they live, you can't always know what that is. So, you must make do with what you have and perhaps experiment a little. But magic-users do not classify plants the same way botanists do. Botanists describe plants according to their reproductive strategies- the shape of their flowers, fruits, etc. but magic-users describe plants according to their energies, and describe these by way of planetary and elemental correspondences. If you can discern what the purpose of the plant is in a spell and attune yourself to that energy, you may be able to find a replacement plant that nearly matches that energy and it may be a closely related species, or it might not. You can begin your search by determining the planetary energy of the plant and looking among other plants with similar energies. Of course, there's always the possibility that there is simply no substitute.

So, the answer to your question is this. Sometimes it matters. Sometimes it doesn't. If the different species have similar histories, qualities, growing habits, toxicities, fragrance, then you should have no trouble using the readily available species over the harder to get one. If you have no idea which species is required, you have to figure out the purpose of the plant in the spell and go from there.

The example of yew; the common yew has an incredibly rich and detailed history. It has thousands of years of Western tradition behind it and that makes it more suited to European-based magic associated with the dead than the Pacific yew. It may be that the Pacific yew also has thousands of years of tradition behind it, but it would be different Native American tradition and I would want to know more about it before I used it. The common yew is also more toxic and long-lived, which further associates it with death and rebirth. You could probably use the Pacific yew for some things, especially considering it is a safer, less toxic (but not non-toxic) alternative, but I am not sure I'd trust it to trap a soul. However, if you decide it's going to work, it's going to work better than it would if you're not sure.

Regarding birch- For wood, I would say most species of birch can be used for most purposes. They are, for the most part, quick-growing pioneer species that form colonies. Paper birch is often called upon for its bark, but other birches bark has similar properties with darker color, so you just have to use an ink that'll show up. However, I must point out that removing the bark damages the tree though bark that has fallen away naturally can be found. When burning for incense or creating oils, some species (subspecies Betulenta) are preferred due to their higher concentration of fragrant resins. (I am personally not a fan of the scent, but each their own.)

Alder is an interesting one because the common name alder is sort of all over the place. Can these other common-named alders that aren't actually Alnus spp be used in place of alder? I don't know. I would have to get to know the plants involved and I do not. As for the various species within Alnus/, I am sure some of them can. I wouldn't use a shrub in place of a tree or an upland species in place of a water-loving species, but all other things being equal, I'd go for it.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Do herb species matter in magick?

I could not find a title to this post that summarized what I need help with. I am really hoping for insights - though I note this forum has been very quiet for almost a year.

A few years back, I had a neighbour living in a flat right below mine with whom I became good friend (long story, but she viewed me as a big sister as I helped her quite a lot, she was just out of care and was having a very rough time…)
Anyhow, few years down the line, she became a 'born again christian' as she started going out with this evangelical preacher (who did not seem to like me much….)
At some point, they went off on holidays and organised (without my knowing) for the rest of the congregation to perform and exorcism of/in their flat - it was in the middle of winter and I could hear some weird noises which slowly became louder and turned into proper incantations and speaking in tongues or whatever. It was rather spooky, especially at the beginning as I thought the building was empty and I could not locate where the noise / mumbling / praying then screaming came from…
Anyhow, ever since (my neighbour moved out within a week of coming back from her holidays), I feel like they sent whatever problem they had to me, or that I have somehow 'swallowed it' and I've been like bound to this place / flat, going from really really really difficult work/life/family situation to even harder ones… I have tried - repeatedly - the usual salt, incense, sage burning, space clearing etc… everything I can think of and more but instead of getting better, I'm having huge difficulties and problems seem getting worse.

I can't write a novel here, but just to say that my friends even sometimes say 'we don't know anyone who is as unlucky as you'…. it's just weird, I am not depressed or weak or easily influenced, and this has now been going on for ten years, so i am quite resilient, but I am getting a little tired.

My question is thus twofold:
Is it possible that whatever was binding my neighbours has now been sent over to me?
and if so, how can I get rid of this / send it back / destroy it etc..

I really hope someone has some tried and tested suggestions; thanks for reading and your help!

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Ask the Witches

Just because you’re a witch and have a pet it does not mean that animal is your familiar. Family maybe, not familiar. In fact that is a very new age understanding of “the witch’s familiar”, and historically inaccurate. There are different kinds of familiars which have been noted to be bestowed upon the witch in various ways, but buying it from the pet store isn’t one. Now perhaps your pet could serve as the vessel for your familiar to inhabit, like possession in a sense. I suggest reading some of Emma Wilby’s research on the subject and get a better understanding of what a witch’s familiar actually is.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: How do I tell if my familier is really magical?

There is ancient folklore from all over the place that talks about witches possessing the power the shapeshift or transform themselves into any form they want, usually some kind of animal (the kinds of animals differs according to where the lore originated). Most of these stories claim the witch gains the power through her familiar, which also strengthens the witch’s spell craft work.
Because the stories all originate from different locations around the world I don’t think it’s far fetched to assume this is (or at least was at one time) a possibility. Of course one would have to assume it’s most likely the witch’s spirit which leaves her body and either enters a vessel (the body of an animal) or perhaps physically manifests itself rather than the witch herself transforming like in a warewolf movie. The laws that govern physical reality still apply to witches.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: can i shrink to size of an ant and then regain to normal?

I highly doubt chanting centimeters instead of inches "messed up" your spell because (in my opinion) willing your hair to grow is highly unlikely to cause physical results. I suggest, for physical results, using plant and animal spirit magic instead. For example aloevera gel, eggs, ginger, and flax seed can all stimulate hair growth (among many others), and they can all easily be made into a hair mask you can apply to your hair. Also there are certain foods you can eat that can stimulate hair growth. I know these methods might not have the mystical appeal that other forms of magic have, but they are magic all the same and have been proven to work.
Also, just like plants, hair needs to be stripped of the "dead" parts to give way to new growth. It may seem contradictory to your goal but trimming the dead ends and damaged parts of your hair will increase its growth rate. Everything functions by the rule "as above to below, as within so without" and vice versa. It's a known fact that by trimming the spent pieces of plants it can give way and make it easier for that plant to put its energy into producing new growth. Same goes for many other things, including our hair. Good luck.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Can I redo a spell if I messed up the first time?
Witches have historically always possessed the ability to "fly", but not in the way that you're probably thinking. The spirit of the Witch takes flight to Sabbats and on other occasions, purportedly through the aid of flying ointments, broom sticks, spirit familiars, or through transformation. Obviously this all takes place on the astral plane of existence sense the laws of physics continue to apply even for witches. However, do not be discouraged because once mastered, activity in the astral realm is just as real and just as rewarding as in the physical. I suggest you research the above mentioned methods of "flying". You may find one that works for you. Sarah Ann Lawless makes and sells flying ointments that is just about as close as you can get to historically accurate as far as ingredients go and I can say from experience they do not disappoint.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Can I Fly

Like Morningbird said, anyone can be a witch. But please PLEASE do not confuse mental health issues with spiritual gifts. Yes, they can go hand n hand, and yes they can be intertwined and have effect on each other, BUT the romanticizing of mental health issues is dangerous and damaging. You should first seek help and treatment for your depression and schizophrenia before moving forward with your craft. In many ways they can be holding you back from becoming the best witch you can be. There are countless affordable resources out there for you to seek treatment.
After reading your recount, I don't believe it's God that you're butting heads with but rather religion. God and religion are two very different things.
I explain spirituality and religion to my children with the analogy of the locked room and key hole. Imagine that the nature of God and everything that encompasses is inside of a locked room. We don't have the key to this room but we can peak through the keyhole and see a small portion and catch glimpses of what's inside. Religion is someone else's account of what they think they have witnessed when looking through the keyhole. And that is perfectly fine to take that account and say yes, I agree with this and I will carry on and live my life according to these accounts and this is what I believe. But others may not be satisfied with the account or disagree entirely, so they chose another person's account of what they think they've seen, or they chose to go up to the key hole and look for themselves. And all ways are right, because ultimately no one can go in that room and know for sure the entirety of the true nature of Spirit.
But if your personal truth (knowing you have been given gifts by God) is clashing with your religion, than perhaps you have spiritually out grown that religion. Religion in a lot of ways is a neat little box that people try to fit "God" into, because they're comfortable in that box and it makes them feel safe when they have rules and commandments governing them. But the reality is the nature of God can never be confined by or even comprehended by the Human spirit. So it's not going against God by exploring or embracing your spiritual gifts.
I was also raised Christian in Southern Baptist churches of the South East US, and I too struggled a bit with the notion I was "sinning" or "going to hell". But really these are conditioned responses created by religions. And this is no accident, many dominant religions were put into place or declared the "official" religion of certain regions because it was the best way to control the masses. And this is still a major function of them today. (What better way to keep children in line than by telling them their actions will "make Jesus sad", or that they will go to hell by giving into natural biological urges before participating in a government instituted contract AKA sex before marriage?)
Try googling "magic in the bible" or things like "was Jesus a magician" or "witches in the bible", and you will find a lot of alternative information with solid references based in the Holy Bible that lay out that there are many many more ways than just one to interpret "God's word". And from there I suggest doing some research into Jehovah, nd how the nature of that specific account of God was formed and his history. All modern religions (and Christianity is relatively modern compared to the other major religions) and mostly all religions for that matter, have pieces of older religions, traditions, and Deities mixed and matched together like a puzzle. There are all sorts of witchcraft and magical accounts in the bible (because more than anything it is a valuable piece of historical information functioning as a perfect snapshot of the times and attitudes towards spirituality when it was constructed.) Many things are just twisted in a way as to still "make sense" with the common interpretation of it all. For example, I've had the gift of mediumship for as long as I can remember. My mother explained it as "oh, well you have the gift of 'discernment of spirits'". It's the same exact thing but to my mother saying it one way is biblical and simply using a different word to describe it is "the devil".
I wish you good luck on your journey. My last advice would be to pray, meditate, or whatever it is you do but ask God for guidance and then LISTEN. That's the important part. You don't need religion to tell you what God wants for you simply ask and Spirit will answer. But you gotta listen and be open to receiving the answers.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Called to God...and magic?
Tarot cards are paper. Just like Ouijia boards are cardboard. They’re just a tool just like a candle or talisman. It’s what you put into them and how you use them.
Tarot can be read, and successfully I might add, how Morningbird describes. They can work similarly how our dreams work by revealing and bringing our subconscious knowledge to the surface. But they can also be a means of spirit communication. I do readings both ways. But I will say if you’re going to allow them to be a channel through which spirits relay information to you, you should probably be clear or informed about which spirits are giving the information. But in my experience you can potentially receive a lot more hidden information through spirit communication, but the spirits who are willing to share the most don’t do it for free.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Are tarot cards reading done by the help of spirits ?

First, about the demons and blood magic and how you say your “coven stays far away from” that - there are a lot of negative connotations that go along with blood and “demon” work but these two things are a large part of our foundation and history as witches. Also, by doing binding work on M you’re practicing manipulation magic which is likewise viewed by many witches as “bad” or karmicly damning. So I say all that just to say that as witches we shouldn’t pass judgment on each other and the way we practice. Because to each her own right, and honestly kudos to M for being brave enough to explore the darker parts of her roots.
Now. As far as protection magic goes there is a plethora of protection spells and charms you could work. Sometimes simple magic is the best magic in my opinion and that would be mirrors! A mirror reflects, so magically it can be used to reflect anything aimed at you and yours back to whence it came. A nice way to employ the mirror in the situation would be to create protective mirror amulets. I’m sure the arts and craft store Michaels would have cute little mirror pendants you could put on a necklace or pin to your belongings you carry with you to school. So you could enchant the mirrors to repel any harmful energy directed towards you. Also “evil-eye” talismans or “hamsa hands” have always been used to guard against malicious intent.
In hoodoo many conjurerors will dust themselves in crab shell powder to remain safe and reverse any magic directed at themselves.
Sigils can also be powerful magic if you know how to use them and can be drawn on carried items like books / bags / the bottoms of shoes.
One of my favorite and most powerful forms of protection (in my experience) is the use of thought forms. Thought forms are a kind of spirit familiar that is created by the witch and charged with a specific duty or intent. If this is the way you want to go I’d suggest some research first. One book I know I’ve read that’s ok is “create a servitor” by John Kreiter. There’s a lot of information out there though.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Another witch at my school is most likely going to attack my coven.

"Magick is the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity with will" - Allister Crowley
Magic is science, and scientifically speaking the magic that witches perform is the moving and pushing of energy, and that magic is fueled through / energy is controlled by intentions. Technically a spell can be performed without anything other than a concentrated mind and clear intention. The "spells" we perform are sympathetic representations to help give our minds something tangible to go along with our thought forms. (not to say that spell ingredients don't have added benefit, such as plant spirits that lend their own energetic power).
So there's something to be said about feeling the need to perform a spell multiple times for the same thing. If you've already made up your mind that a desired outcome isn't going to work after the first attempt and is going to need multiple workings than your spell is most likely not going to work. You need to perform your work as if your desire has already manifested. Powerful intention can outshine candles and rhyming words any day.
In regards to money and prosperity work, it is common to keep an altar so to speak. So you could set up a money or prosperity altar (nothing official as the name altar implies, it could possibly just be a small space on your counter or in a corner of a room on a shelf) with an appropriate candle (green obviously in this case), with objects used in prosperity magic (which you probably are already aware of and have sense you've been doing the spell work). Monday is the day to do money and prosperity work, so you could work your altar every Monday - anointing the candle with money drawing oil, lighting appropriate incense, and such. These types of works can be done every Monday for an indefinite amount of time, or you could start your work on a Monday under a waxing moon and perform the work daily for seven days as the moon grows. Likewise you could start on a new moon and perform the work through the moon cycle, ending on the full moon.

But more than anything, have confidence that your magic is going to work so well the first time that you will never have to repeat the spell again. Intentions are very powerful.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Am a new in witchcraft!. i want to know if there is any bad effects to cast spells many times in one intent, exmp money, luck, p

Reversal magic could help. The girl would need to burn a reversing candle and a spiritually cleansing salt bath with other added reversal herbs such as: powdered crab shell, agrimony, devil's shoe string, vetivert, and more that can be found just by googling "reversing herbs". The most powerful (in my opinion) would be to include powdered crab shell powder, which you can find in a lot of stores that sell plants because it's used as plant food, also they have a reasonably priced option on amazon.
Also, Dr.E sells a reversing bath blend for $4 on conjuredoctor.com
If you can't get your hands on any reversing herbs or purchase any, atleast include some regular salt or Epsom salts, and vinegar in a bath. After the cleansing bath she should use reversing or protection powder on her skin. Again, if you can't get your hands on the mentioned herbs, a common house-hold item that can be used are dryer sheets since they "un-cling".
If you can't buy a reversing candle they can be easy to make, especially if you can find a pre-maid red candle. A reversing candle is red on the inside and black on the outside so when it's burned it represents the overcoming of evil (red over black). You could potentially even use string and melted crayons for the creation of a small reversing candle. Once a red candle is made or obtained, you can add black wax to the outside by dipping it repeatedly into the melted black wax (or crayon).
When burning reversing candles it's a good practice to "butt" the candle, which means cutting off the "top" of the candle so it's flat and turning it over (and if need be carving into it a bit to reveal the wick on this side) and burning the bottom first. to signify "turning the situation around" so to speak.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: A friend of mine got angry at a girl at my school and cast a binding spell on her.

Many believe that we are picking up various energies and even entities all the time as we go about our day and interact with different people and different environments. Usually, they are harmless and our energetic field normalizes through basic, everyday self-care practices of bathing, eating a good diet, getting enough rest and doing things we enjoy. Sometimes this isn't enough and you may need to do some sort of ritual cleansing, like taking a ritual bath, smoke cleansing or various other methods found in specific traditions. Many engage in these regularly as part of their self care in order to maintain aural hygiene. If these methods are not enough, you may need to consult your clergy or spiritual practitioner for more intensive methods.

Some signs that may indicate a problem include a general sense that things are off, feeling like you're not yourself, thoughts and urges that are outside your normal character, obsessing over a person, place or object, feeling like you're being watched, catching a glimpse out of the corner of your eye, and nightmares. These signs will occur a lot if there's a problem, not just once in a while. Everyone experiences these sometimes and it doesn't necessarily mean it's a problem.

You should also note that these can also be signs of mental illness and I highly encourage anyone seeking spiritual treatment to also seek psychological treatment because even if your problem is spiritual in nature and not psychological, people experiencing any sort of chronic symptoms whether they be physical or spiritual, are at very high risk for developing psychological issues too.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Is it possible for a demon/some kind of darkness to have attached itself to someone?

Red quartz is quartz and iron. Iron is very active and aggressive and quartz is an energy conduit, so I would say your experience with it is about what one would expect. It is very useful for healing and other situations where a lot of energy is required, but I don't expect it would be helpful for meditation.

Forum category: Hidden / Per page discussions
Forum thread: Quartz
