That depends on what you call a spell. There are those whop cast protective shields over their children whenever they send them out into the world, put up wards everytime they leave the house, do a bit of divination to start the day, do a bit of visualization for a good parking spot on the way to work, simmer good health and a positive attitude into their cooking and meditate uniting with the spirit of those that died for their dinner, and then set an intention at night to gain wisdom from their dreams each night. If you call all those spells, well, I'd say the answer is limitless. If by "spell" you mean full on casting a circle and lighting candles, I would think more than one or two a day would start interfering with life.
