It sounds as if you're communicating just fine. You can feel her, that's good. Everyone gets "messages" differently. Maybe you don't hear words being spoken but you could pick up on emotion. You may even get a "knowing". As if all of a sudden you understand a complex thought or feeling without someone breaking it down word for word. She may even pass on messages through animals, insects and the world around you. She may leave clues in other ways. Watch for her in dreams it can be easier to communicate there. Most importantly, trust your intuition.
